CALENDAR WATCH

Calendar Watch is CCSD's early notification symbol that has been designed to inform elementary school parents and communities as to the calendar (9 month or 12 month) each elementary school may be operating on for the coming school year. Parents are encouraged to contact their elementary schools with questions regarding the symbol being displayed. Final calendar decisions for the 2010 - 2011 school year will be made by April 1, 2010. Parents/Guardians of schools converting from 9- to 12 month or from 12- to 9 month calendars will be notified by school principals. Click the link below to view the calendar watch.

LIED DISCOVERY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
TEACHER OF THE MONTH

Beginning in 2010, Lied Discovery Children’s Museum is proud to recognize Southern Nevada educators with its Teacher of the Month award! Each month, the museum will honor an elementary school teacher nominated by the community. The winning teacher will receive a certificate, a one-year museum membership for his or her family and one free field trip to the museum for one class at his or her school.
